Once the plugin is loaded, your first technical setup should be configuring the Input Gamut and Input Gamma. This step is crucial because it tells FilmVerse how to interpret your footage’s color space and dynamic range before any film emulation is applied.

Input Gamut: Choose the color gamut of your source footage. Common options include DaVinci Wide Gamut, ARRI Wide Gamut, ACES, or camera-specific gamuts like Sony S-Gamut3, Canon Cinema Gamut, etc.

Input Gamma: Select the gamma profile of your footage, such as DaVinci Intermediate, Canon Log3, ARRI LogC V3/V4, RED Log3G10, or Sony S-Log3. This ensures proper tonal mapping.

By default, the Output Gamma is set to BT.709-5 (Gamma 2.4)—a standard for SDR delivery. However, you can change this to suit your delivery needs (e.g., HDR output options like ST2084 or HLG). This setting determines how your image is mapped for the final display.
